It’s been a tough couple of weeks, but somehow we managed to make it to Tekapo.
Back in January, Nath decided he wanted to run a half marathon before the end of the year. It was a big goal and one he’s worked hard toward. I’m so in awe of his determination, dedication and joy. He’s put in so much mahi, supported by Coach David, and did it all with such heart and happiness. I was just dragged along for the ride… and sometimes left behind!
Awesome to share this weekend in such a beautiful part of the country with so many of our Wellington and Queenstown friends. An epic weekend of running, scenic views and an inspiring and supportive community.
Congratulations Nath on ticking off your big big goal. We probably should have picked an easier course, that was a pretty hectic first half marathon, but you were such a trooper out there and I loved our adventure together. How massive is that medal?!?!
