A fun adventure, exploring a different part of Milford, and meeting new people with the Fiordland Tramping Club on Sunday. We hiked the Pass Creek Trail from Hollyford Rd to The Divide via Lake Howden. A short mission, slowed by the overgrown trail and abundant tree fall, but great weather (mostly), with a speedy finish to get ahead of the incoming dark clouds.
A few of the crew biked back to pick up the cars, and then an even fewer few paused at Lake Gunn for a swim under snow capped mountains while the rest of us (warmly) watched on.
